Renew or Reserve a Book

How to renew or reserve materials

How do I renew a book?

Books are checked out for 28 days at a time. There are a few ways to renew a book.

1. You can access your account on the Missouri Evergreen app, and it shows the option to "renew" a book next to that books title. Once renewed it will show your new due date.

2. You can bring your book in person to the library and we can renew it for you.

3. Can't make it in? No problem! Give us a call and we can renew it for you over the phone.

**Only able to renew copies 3 times before they need to be brought back in to be renewed further if applicable**

**Please note: books cannot be renewed if someone else has a hold on that book**

How do I reserve a book?

Again, there are a few different ways to do this.

1. Go to the Missouri evergreen app and look for the particular book you want. If we don't have it, you can "place hold" on a copy from another library and it will be brought to our library and you can be notified when it arrives.

2. Ask a library gal to help reserve a copy of the book you are looking for.

If we don't have it, we can most likely get it for you!

Late Fees

Late fees are $0.20/day per book following a 3 day grace period after the due date.

Late fees must be paid in full before you are able to check out any more materials.

Lost or damaged Books

Lost or damaged books will need to be replaced at the expense of the patron.
